How do I add a new habit?

On the Today tab, tap the "Add" button. Select a category from the list (smoking, drinking, gambling, etc.) or create a custom habit. Give it a name and unit of measurement, then tap Save.

How do I change my mascot?

Go to the Profile tab, then tap on your current mascot image. You'll see all 10 available mascots — tap any one to select it. Premium users have access to all mascots.

How do streaks work?

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've logged your habits. If you miss a full day without logging, your streak resets. The app also tracks your all-time best streak.

What is SOS mode?

When a craving hits hard, tap the SOS tab at the bottom. You'll find:

• Breathing Exercises: Guided breathing to calm cravings
• Craving Timer: Track how long you resist
• Excuse Destroyer: A game that fights back against your excuses
• Facts: Science-backed facts about your habit's effects

How do I share my roasts?

After getting roasted by your mascot, tap the Share button. This generates an image with your mascot and the roast text, and opens the iOS share sheet where you can send it to Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, or any other app.

Where can I see my progress?

Tap the Progress tab to see detailed analytics including:

• Weekly and monthly charts
• Heatmap showing your logging patterns
• Daily averages and totals
• Consistency score
• Trigger analysis

How do I manage my subscription?

To manage or cancel your subscription:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find HabitRoaster and tap it
5. Choose your preferred option (change plan or cancel)

How do I cancel my subscription?

Follow the steps above and tap "Cancel Subscription." Your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find the HabitRoaster purchase
4. Select "Request a refund" and follow the prompts

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, go to Profile → Restore Purchases. This will re-activate your premium features if you have an active subscription.

The app is crashing

Try these steps:

1. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
2. Force-close the app and reopen it
3. Restart your device
4. If the issue persists, email us at support@habitroaster.com with your device model and iOS version

My data disappeared

HabitRoaster stores data locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, local data would have been removed. To prevent this in the future, ensure iCloud Backup is enabled on your device.

Premium features aren't unlocked

Go to Profile → Restore Purchases to re-sync your subscription status. If that doesn't work, verify your subscription is active in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
